About Carol

 

Carol is a self taught artist who had never had a paint brush in her hand until she bought a One Stroke "Beginner Kit" five years ago.  She took the Level I One Stroke Certified Instructor exam in Vancouver, British Columbia from Barbara Fortier, Canadian National Certifying Director, in September 2005.    She has also taken workshops in Toronto and Vancouver with Donna Dewberry and Barb Fortier.  In November 2008, Carol became a Level II One Stroke Certified Instructor  in Clermont, Florida in a Certification taught by Donna Dewberry.

Carol completed all of the requirements to become the sixth  “Elite” Certified Instructor in all of Canada and was notified by Donna Dewberry in   January 2009.                                                               
 
Carol sings with the Thunder Bay Symphony Chorus and Orchestra, enjoys studying meteorology and goes Storm Chasing "tornados" each Spring with a group of professional storm chasers out of Oklahoma City, OK.
 
 
 
 She  and her husband, Terry Trusdale, live just outside of Thunder Bay, Ontario on the edge of Rosslyn Village. They have three grown children-Jerrod, Jana, and Paisley, and three grandchildren-  Kamon 17, Gene' 13, and Ariyal 11.
